As part of a team of Designers and Engineering colleagues, I worked on this interactive guide to the Eurovision Song Contest, from concept to publishing. The user scrolls up the page and is presented with 6 sections of facts and trivia, Eurovision heroes and things to watch out for, as well as an animated interval. Miscellaneous Eurovision-themed icons float up the page on scroll, linked to the various facts and trivia, creating a light-hearted, eclectic experience, compared to the average BBC News page. I developed the concept of these icons and designed them all. The modular nature and working in Figma allowed for easy sharing of artwork and assets, re-use in social designs, and the creation of a wider News-Eurovision look-and-feel across other pages.
